Dr. Greg K. Inman

Dr. Greg was born in Louisville, KY, and lived there with his parents for seven years while his dad attended dental school. After his father, Dr. Gary, finished dental school, the family moved to Elizabethtown. He was raised here with his two younger brothers. After graduating from Elizabethtown High School, Dr. Greg went to Florida State University for his first year of college. Since becoming an orthodontist had been a lifelong dream, Dr. Greg chose to return to Kentucky and focus on his studies at the University of Louisville.

U of L was a natural fit for Dr. Greg since he basically lived the first seven years of his life on their campus and at their football stadium cheering on his dad. After completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Greg was accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He participated in one year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry after dental school. He began his orthodontic training in 1995 and returned to Elizabethtown to join his father in practice in 1997.

Dr. Greg is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and is a past-president of the Kentucky Association of Orthodontists. Currently, he is serving on the Executive Committee of the Southern Association of Orthodontists and will be the President in 2017.

It is priority to Dr. Inman to continue his education in orthodontics. He attends various educational programs yearly to further his knowledge of the advancements in orthodontic treatment. All three doctors at Inman and Baldwin Orthodontics feel it is essential to offer the most up-to-date and efficient orthodontic treatment methods to their patients.

Dr. Greg takes great pride in the areas in which he lives and works. Giving back to the communities that support Inman and Baldwin Orthodontics is very important. He is a past-president of the Hardin County A.M. Rotary. He also supports the local high school sporting events in Elizabethtown, Glasgow and Campbellsville.

Dr. Inman and his wife, Amy, have 4 children, Garrett, Griffin, Adelyn, and Graden. Dr. Greg thoroughly enjoys attending all of the University of Louisville football and basketball games. He also enjoys playing golf, boating, and teaching his kids how to play sports.

Dr. Thomas Baldwin

While attending the University of Kentucky, Dr. Thomas Baldwin was granted early acceptance into dental school at the University of Louisville. It was there where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 2004 and completed his orthodontic residency and Masters Degree in 2006. Dr. Baldwin returned to practice at Inman and Baldwin Orthodontics, where he was a patient in the early 1990s. He worked/shadowed at the office starting in 1997 and continued this work/shadowing throughout college and dental school.

Dr. Gary O. Inman (Retired)

Dr. Gary attended the University of Louisville on a football scholarship, where he played quarterback and safety. In 2002, he was inducted into the U of L Athletic Hall of Fame. Choosing a career in dentistry over the NFL, he attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated in 1976. Always having a love for young people, he chose to attend the orthodontic residency program at U of L.

“Orthodontics was a good choice for me. I have been blessed to be able to help so many of my hometown folks with their orthodontic needs. I had been interested in a career in orthodontics since my own personal experience with braces as a junior higher. It made such a lasting impression and helped me develop my self-esteem that I wanted to give this gift to others. Helping to build self-esteem and confidence is the absolute best thing we do.”

Following graduation and setting up practice in his hometown of Elizabethtown, “The Best Small Town in America,” Dr. Inman set his sights on becoming the best orthodontist he could be. In 1991, he became a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Other honors include being selected as a member of the American and International College of Dentistry. Dr. Inman is a member of the Kentucky Association of Orthodontists and served as president in 1984-85. He is a member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists and served as president in 2002, a distinction held by only six Kentuckians in the 84-year history of the SAO. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and has represented Kentucky as a delegate to the national convention for nearly 20 years.

Dr. Inman is currently serving as chairman of the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Governmental Affairs. In October 2013, Dr. Inman received the Oren Oliver Distinguished Service Award through the Southern Association of Orthodontists. This is the highest recognition bestowed by the SAO.

Dr. Gary and Susie Inman have three grown sons: Greg, Al and Nick. They also have six grandchildren. “Being able to practice with my oldest son, Greg, and former patient Thomas Baldwin has been a real treat.”
